Hi all, I wanted to let you know of an online event and resource that might be of interest to you and your students to commemorate Earth Day. On Monday April 23, 2018, I will be moderating the eighth Interactive Dialogue of the UN General Assembly on Harmony with Nature to Commemorate International Earth Day. The theme of the Dialogue is how to use Earth Jurisprudence in the implementation of production and consumption patterns in order to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 12. The dialogue will be 10am to 6pm at UN Headquarters in New York City, and will be live broadcast at webtv.un.org. Recordings will also be available at the same website afterward. Students will get to see norm contestation in action at the international level as well as Earth Jurisprudence and Ecological Economics being taken seriously in high-level discussions of how to implement the 2030 SDGs. For further information, please visit the Dialogue's page at: https://goo.gl/DxcF69 There you can also get copies of General Assembly Resolutions and Secretary-General Reports that led to the dialogue.
