I am beginning a quantitative analysis in which I want to evaluate the explanatory power of civil society/NGOs and epistemic communities. I would appreciate suggestions for sources for cross-national data on NGOs (or ENGOs) and for size of scientific communities. It would be particularly good if the cross-national data were also time series. Any data that even remotely might link to these concepts would be appreciated,
