Please help us reach scholars with active research program in environment
and health in the Arctic.

The School of Marine and Environmental Affairs (SMEA <https://smea.uw.edu/>)
and the Department of American Indian Studies (AIS
<https://ais.washington.edu/>) at the University of Washington (UW) invite
applications for a nine-month (100% FTE) tenure-track position at the rank
of Assistant Professor of* Health and Environment in Arctic Indigenous
Communities.* The candidate will be jointly appointed in SMEA in the
College of the Environment (2/3 FTE) and in AIS in the College of Arts and
Sciences (1/3 FTE). A Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree is required.
Relevant fields of expertise include but are not limited to Population
Health, American Indian Studies, Indigenous Studies, Arctic Studies,
Environmental Sociology, Political Science, Social Psychology,
Anthropology, and Human Geography.
