For colleagues who are members of the International Studies Association:

A petition is circulating to create a new section within ISA, on "globalizing"
the study and practice of International Relations. As explained in the petition
(see link below), the focus is on diversifying, un-Westernizing, and
contextualizing. Thought it might be of interest to some. I have below the
petition and the members of the working group. My colleague Amitav Acharya is a
leader in this effort-if anyone has questions, feel free to get back to me
off-list/directly ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) and I will
gather them up for him. Or reach out directly to the designated focal point,
Štěpánka Zemanová at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ...Ken Conca
