Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to 
£47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance



 This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years



The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and the 
Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (CCCEP) at LSE are pleased to 
invite applications to the above post, which is a postdoctoral research 
position at the level of Research Officer.



Candidates are expected to have, or be about to complete, a PhD in Political 
Science, International Relations or a related field, with a research focus on 
the comparative and/or global dimensions of environmental politics. Specific 
areas of interest include, but are not limited to, climate policy, low carbon 
energy transitions, climate legislation and climate litigation.  They should 
also have excellent communication skills, including written and oral English.



The appointee will be expected to play an active intellectual role in the life 
of the Institute, including collaborating with other research programmes, and 
with staff at other universities. We are looking for individuals who are 
excited about communicating their research to decisions makers.
