Dear Colleagues,

this is a gentle reminder that our application deadline is coming up soon,
24 May. If you could please send the communication below to anyone you
think would be a good fit that would be very much appreciated. In
particular it would be great to circulate this among Master's and Alumni
emailing lists. Thank for your support! Kind regards, Jampel

Dear Colleague,

Hope you and your beloved are well in these difficult times.

I would kindly ask your support to spread the news about *13 PhD* fully
funded 3-years *positions* in the area of water governance with the NEWAVE
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/> Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative
Training Network.

Here the 13 available Early Stage Researcher/PhD positions
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/esrs-recruitment/available-positions>
 descriptions.

*We are looking for top candidates*. The requirements and preferred
academic backgrounds and skills for each PhD position are different. These
are defined by the PhD supervisors involved in each position.

Overall we are particularly interested in *candidates that have strong
professional experience *in the field of water and environmental governance
(for example NGOs, International Organizations, etc) and candidates that
have *very strong analytical* capacities.

All candidates need to qualify as early stage researchers (mainly no other
PhD obtained before and less than four years of full time research
experience) and satisfy the specific EU eligibility requirements
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/esrs-recruitment/guide-for-applicants> for
this program.

The *deadline* for the application has been extended to *May 24, 2020*.
Candidates are expected to start in September-October 2020 and NEWAVE is
prepared to adapt to the Covid-19 situation by leveraging remote connection
and remote work.

The selected candidates will become the backbone of a *stellar actionable
research network* that includes some of the leading academic and
non-academic organizations in the world of water governance including 10 host
organizations
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/network-organisation/beneficiaries> and
19 partners
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/network-organisation/partners>.

Interested candidates are invited to submit online a proposal only for
their preferred option, additionally they can list two alternative
preferences among the available positions.

Before applying candidates should read carefully the application information
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/esrs-recruitment> on the NEWAVE
website.

   - An exhaustive guide for applicants

<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/upload/files/NEWAVE_ESRs%20Recruitment%20-%20Guide%20for%20Applicants%20-%20extended%20deadline.pdf>
is
   here available

Due to the large numbers of queries I will not be able to reply to
individual emails of interested candidates but if their questions are not
addressed by our FAQs
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/esrs-recruitment/frequently-asked-questions-faq>
they
can get in touch with us through the contact form
<https://www.nextwatergovernance.net/contact-us>.

If you could please spread this email among your contacts or *send it to
specific people that come to your mind* this would be extremely important
for us!

Thank you,

Kind regards, Jampel
