Part-Time Assistant Adjunct Professor of Political Science

Job Description:

The Department of Public Policy and Political Science seeks an adjunct
professor to teach one Spring 2021 online course in Latin American
politics. The course will meet synchronously on Zoom on Mondays and
Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 3:45pm Pacific from January 20 to May 6. The
instructor may choose to replace some portion of the live class sessions
with asynchronous activities to minimize Zoom-fatigue and maximize student
engagement. The instructor will also be expected to hold 2 hours of virtual
office hours each week.

Course Description:
PPOL 152: Latin American Politics (3 semester credits)

Compensation:
For faculty new to Mills, compensation is $6,000 per course without a
terminal degree and $6,500 per course with a terminal degree. Adjunct
compensation is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement and increases
with seniority at Mills College.
