Dear GEP-ED colleagues, Rak Kim and my new review paper, “The Boundaries of the Planetary Boundary Framework: A Critical Appraisal of Approaches to Define a ‘Safe Operating Space’ for Humanity”, has now been published by Annual Review of Environment and Resources. It provides a balanced analysis of the highly influential, but also controversial concept of “planetary boundaries”. The review may also prove helpful for use in the classroom.
