Assistant Director, Global Economic Governance Initiative

The Global Economic Governance Initiative (GEGI) at Boston University’s Global 
Development Policy Center (GDP CENTER) seeks an assistant director.  The 
assistant director will serve as a researcher, strategist, and research manager 
of a portfolio of policy-oriented research and engagement efforts to transform 
global economic institutions such that they are aligned with climate and 
sustainable development goals.  The successful candidate will have a PhD in 
economics, political science, or related field, be very well versed in both 
climate change issues and in the workings of the International Monetary Fund 
and associated international financial institutions, and have demonstrated 
experience in managing multiple research and policy projects simultaneously.
