best, Agni 2021 Bratislava Conference on Earth System Governance Earth System Governance in turbulent times: prospects for behavioral and political responses Bratislava, Slovak University of Technology September 7-9, 2021 We are delighted to invite you to the 2021 Bratislava Conference on Earth System Governance, which is planned as a hybrid event, to be held in Bratislava, the Slovak Republic, and accessible virtually. We are launching a second intake of Abstracts<https://www.earthsystemgovernance.org/2021bratislava/call-for-papers-2021/> to complement the initial Call for Papers. This builds upon submissions for the 2020 Bratislava Conference, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage scholars to take part in this second intake as an additional opportunity to address the turbulent times of 2020. The theme of the Bratislava Conference is Earth System Governance in turbulent times: prospects for behavioral and political responses. The conference will be organized around the five analytical lenses structuring the new earth system governance research agenda, as captured in the 2018 Earth System Governance Science and Implementation Plan; and a sixth stream focusing on governance intervention and social actions for behavioral change to sustainability. The 2021 Bratislava Conference is hosted by SLOVAKGLOBe, Slovak Academy of Sciences and Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava and the CETIP with the Earth System Governance Project. In addition to individual papers, we invite new proposals for Innovative Sessions, Taskforce & Meeting Day Sessions and Full Panels. We look forward to receiving your submissions.
