Dear Colleagues, The Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University is looking to hire a Professor of the Practice in the area of sustainable development. The successful candidate will be a distinguished practitioner who has worked at high levels in major international organizations, government, and/or non-governmental organizations, demonstrated professional excellence in the field of environment and development, and shares a commitment to the Pardee School’s institutional values regarding diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice.
Expertise in project management, technology for development, human rights, international law, or multilateral negotiation is desirable. Regional expertise in any part of the global South, but particularly in Africa or Latin America, is seen as a strength. The successful candidate will teach courses in their areas of expertise, and will also advise and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing professional careers in international relations. Prior teaching experience and a record of publication and research is considered a plus. I believe that most of us on this list are more on the academic side than the practitioner side, but please share the job description if you through your research or professional networks know someone in an international organization or government or NGO who may be interested in the position. https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/19385 Best, Henrik Henrik Selin Associate Dean for Studies Associate Professor Frederick S Pardee School of Global Studies Boston University -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gep-ed" group.
