*Graduate Assistantship Opportunities (SUNY-ESF)*

The Dept. of Environmental Studies at the State University of New York
College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), in Syracuse, New York,
is accepting applications for graduate assistantships for well-qualified MS
and PhD students in Environmental Studies, or in Environmental Science
working with Environmental Studies faculty, to begin in August 2022.
Graduate assistantships are awarded for up to three years for a PhD, and
two years for MS students, given sufficient progress and availability of
funding. Preference for funding is given to PhD students. We encourage
applications in our individual areas of specialization, which include:

   - Environmental Policy and Governance
   - Environmental and Science Communication
   - Environmental Justice and Inequality
   - Agriculture, Food, and the Environment
   - Conservation Networks and Partnerships
   - Ecological Economics
   - Energy Democracy/ Justice
   - Environmental Decision Making
   - Environmental Education and Interpretation
   - Environmental Health
   - Environmental Modeling
   - Human Dimensions of Water
   - Intersectional Environmentalism
   - Policy, Planning and Communication
   - Political Ecology
   - Risk Perception
