*****Apologies for cross-posting*****

Dear colleagues,

I'm very pleased to share a new exclusive three-part podcast show, offered to
you by the University of Warwick (Energy GRP): Turmoil!

Turmoil is now exclusively available on
Spotify<https://open.spotify.com/show/6t8m7BU79AFyIVPsVVBP07?si=657ca7933ab74ff4>,
 Apple Podcasts<https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/turmoil/id1624358282> and
Sounder.fm<https://turmoil.sounder.fm/>.

In this show, we explore some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities
of the global energy transformation. We examine the geopolitical implications
of these profound changes, how 'new' types of climate activism-such as
shareholder activism and climate litigation-can help accelerate this
transformation, and what this means for the fossil fuel industry. In our third
episode, we pay attention to the implications of Russia's war in Ukraine and
the ripple effects it creates on energy markets, in Europe and beyond. Will the
war accelerate or rather slow down the necessary transformation?

Our three episodes:

  * EP01 - 'The Geopolitics of Energy System Transformation' with Professor
Mike Bradshaw (Warwick Business School) and Dr James Henderson (Oxford
Institute for Energy Studies).

  * EP02 - 'The New Climate Activism' with Roos Wijker (Follow This), Maarten
van de Weijer (Follow This), and Sjoukje van Oosterhout (Milieudefensie -
Friends of the Earth Netherlands).

  * EP03 - 'War in Ukraine. Transformation in Peril?' with Professor Thijs
Van de Graaf (Ghent Institute for International and European Studies).

Enjoy the show!

Best wishes,
Mathieu
