All, Environmental Studies at U-Oregon is about to post a job for a social scientist working on fire and climate change, most likely in the American West. Which raises what I assume is a general issue that we could all benefit from - to improve equitable hiring requires starting with a diverse pool which does not happen by accident.
So, could people please send me ANY listservs that reach out to underrepresented groups in ANY social science realm (poli sci and IR, but also econ, soc, geog, psych, or really any social science). If it is climate focused, better, but not necessary. I will collect these and send to the list so others can use them going forward, if they want. Thanks, all, Ron Ronald Mitchell, Professor Department of Political Science and Program in Environmental Studies University of Oregon, Eugene OR 97403-1284 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> https://rmitchel.uoregon.edu/ IEA Database Director: https://iea.uoregon.edu/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gep-ed" group.
