Dear colleagues,

As COP27 approaches, I wanted to bring your attention to this new open
access policy analysis: Climate justice for small island developing states:
identifying appropriate international financing mechanisms for loss and
damage <https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/14693062.2022.2112017>.
My co-authors and I weigh five options that scholars have argued should be
urgently considered by the WIM Executive Committee.
We find that, of the five options and from a climate justice perspective,
levies on airline travel and fossil fuel extraction most appropriately
account for the special circumstances of small island developing states.
Please feel free to on-share with other colleagues that may be interested
in this work.

Regards,
Dr Stacy-ann Robinson
