Dear Dr. Webster,

Greetings from Burlington! I'm reaching out to draw your attention to the
University of Vermont's search for an endowed chair in environmental
politics. Given your expertise, I thought you might be interested in the
position, or that you might know of someone else who might be interested.

Although the position is in political science, we are open to applicants
with PhDs in closely related fields who work on environmental politics and
would feel comfortable teaching an introductory course in one of the
political science subfields. The appointment will be made at the rank of
Associate Professor or Full Professor (with tenure), depending on
qualifications and experience. We're looking for applicants with national
and international reputations in environmental politics, who show
outstanding potential to enhance UVM's research profile in this area. Further
details can be found through this link:

If you know of anyone who might be interested, would you mind sharing our
job ad with them? Also, if you have any suggestions of listservs or other
platforms we might use to post our ad, I'd be grateful for any
suggestions. And of course, if you have any interest in the position
yourself, I would encourage you to apply.

Thank you for your time and attention. Please feel free to reach out to me
with any questions.

Sincerely,

Melissa Willard-Foster
