The 2023 Harold and Margaret Sprout Award for the best book in the field goes to: * African Ecomedia: Network Forms, Planetary Politics by Cajetan Iheka (Duke University Press) We are also excited to note that Professor Cajetan will be giving a talk on his book during the newly created "Author's Corner" in the Exhibit Hall on the day that he receives the award. An Honorable Mention for the Sprout Award was also awarded to: * Michael W. Manulak's Change in Global Environmental Politics - Temporal Focal Points and the Reform of International Institutions (Cambridge University Press) The 2023 ESS Graduate Student Paper Award will be shared by two papers: * Greenstein, Gus. Frozen Assets: Personnel Allocation and Deforestation Control in Brazil's Protected Areas * Arias and Schwartz.
