Greetings environmental scholars of all kinds! As a reminder, if you are
working on or refining scholarship, please consider submitting a panel proposal
for the International Studies Association-Environmental Studies Section
(ISA-ESS) for 2024. The call for proposals, Putting Relationality at the Centre
of International Studies<https://www.isanet.org/Conferences/ISA2024/Call>,
strongly encourages interdisciplinary and cross-relational ways of thinking
about environmental management. As a result, environmental scholarship that
connects with issues in Indigenous rights, gender power relations, Global
North-Global South relationships, disability access, and other such issues will
be particularly welcome.

In addition, please note that this call is not only about empirical research.
If you are thinking about/working on issues pertaining to pedagogy, in
particular how we might “unsettle exclusionary disciplinary practices and
structures through a commitment to care,” there would be a very welcoming space
for that kind of work.

The deadline is fast approaching (June 1st), but hopefully this will spur some
of you who have been thinking about proposals, or planned on but forgot about
the deadline, to submit them soon.

Thanks, and looking forward to reading any new work that people from this
community decide to bring to ISA 2024.

-Kemi
