COCE 2025 will be a hybrid conference, with in-person and virtual participation options available.
The International Environmental Communication Association (IECA)<https://theieca.org/> and the University of Tasmania’s School of Creative Arts and Media<https://www.utas.edu.au/about/colleges-and-schools/cale/creative-arts-and-media> are collaborating to deliver a conference that will blend traditional and innovative formats. We invite scholars, artists, practitioners, and activists to submit proposals in a variety of formats, including research papers, practice reflections, artworks, panels, workshops, and unique participant-suggested ideas. We encourage proposals that explore shifting perspectives on environmental communication and emphasize creativity and conviviality. Attendees who do not present are also warmly welcomed.
