Ten Years After Paris:
Lessons Learned and the Road to COP30
Sciences Po PSIA and CERI are pleased to collaborate with KU Leuven on this
expert roundtable to examine the evolution of international climate
negotiations ten years after the landmark Paris Agreement.
As we approach COP30 in Brazil this November, this roundtable brings together
leading voices in climate diplomacy to reflect on the successes, challenges,
and lessons learned from a decade of implementation, including results from the
Horizon Europe project ENSURED on reform potential in global climate governance.
How has the Paris Agreement's architecture evolved in practice? What have been
the most significant diplomatic breakthroughs and persistent obstacles? How are
emerging economies reshaping negotiation dynamics? And what critical issues
will define the agenda at COP30 in Belém?
