Hello all,

The UC system offers the Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship program
(PPFP) to support outstanding scholars across disciplines "whose life
experiences and educational background would help to broaden the
perspectives represented in the faculty of the University of California."
You must apply with a proposed mentor from any UC campus. All PPFPs are
subsequently eligible for a hiring incentive
<https://ppfp.ucop.edu/info/recruitment-and-hiring/administrator-faqs.html>that
provides a promising pathway to a faculty position in the UC.

I would love to apply to work with a fellow in this next cycle. If you’re
interested in applying to work with me at UCSC, and have a project in mind
that sits at the intersection of global climate governance and social
justice, and/or community/public engagement in climate response
technologies please reach out. I’ve served on the selection committee for
several years and have a pretty good sense of what makes for a competitive
application. See here <https://ppfp.ucop.edu/info/how-to-apply/> more
info. The application deadline is November 1.

All the best,
Sikina
