We present the China’s Global Environmental Leadership (CGEL) Database, a novel dataset of 293 China-led environmental governance initiatives. Our analysis reveals increasing activity over three decades, with an expanding geographic scope, driven primarily by information sharing, capacity building, and knowledge production. Register here.
