A student and I are working on a project examining the costs of substitutes for the POPs regulated under the Stockholm Convention, and are running into serious informational roadblocks. We're trying to get a sense, first, of which substitutes (we have a UN-generated list of all the possible substitutes, both chemical and not) are actually used in a major way, and, second, of how expensive they are to use relative to the regulated substances.
I know some folks on this list have much more experience with POPs and Stockholm than I do -- any suggestions for sources of information on those two questions? We've been spinning our wheels for weeks. Beth
