The 9th International Wildlife Law Conference will take place on January 26-27, 2007 at Stetson University’s College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. The conference is sponsored by the American Branch of the International Law Association’s International Wildlife Law Committee; the American Society of International Law’s International Environmental Law Interest Group, and Stetson University College of Law.

The four panels at the conference will focus on: Antarctic conservation and management regimes; the Convention on Trade in Endangered Species; the Ramsar Convention; and the Impacts of Climate Change on Species and Institutional Responses. The conference traditionally brings together a great mix of academics, students, practitioners, and members of the governmental and NGO sectors. There will also be side trips to interesting places in the area.

The conference program and registration form can be found at: http://www.law.stetson.edu/international/biodiversity/IWLC.pdf

I hope you can join us in Florida! wil
