An option to scale stroke-width has been added to the SVG settings, as it depends on the program used to open the SVG - 'true' for opening in Adobe Illustrator - 'false' for Inkscape

It seems Illustrator uses the viewbox correctly for scaling shapes but doesn't scale stroke weight. The attachment shows the sample file "Les Miserables.gexf" as rendered in Illustrator CS4.
