Hi,
Gephi can't used as an applet but you can use the Gephi Toolkit to
generate a visualization image, like in LinkedIn InMaps:
http://gephi.org/toolkit/
We can imagine a user that loads a .csv file, then a Java application
implementing the toolkit processes it and returns a PDF, and SVG, a
Seadragon export or simply the .gephi file.
