I recently had a cavy (guinnea pig) fancier mention in passing to me that
that there was a variety (i mentioned to soemone privately that it was a
mutation but Actually they didnt know if it was one gene or more than one,
it was soemthign that faded and had a relationship to an orange liek
colour). Whatever it is, its now beleived extinct. Ive tried
medline/pubmed article base and cavy club websites- but I cant find any
refference to it! Im not a cavy fancier myself- is anyone else here who
might have some other leads to find out about this?
