Hi!
I have trouble with Muffin again. She is thin, listless and looks really
ill. She wasn't her old self last week already. I wondered if her teeth
were ok because she seemed to get thinner. I gave her some paper and she
gnawed it all right, if with little enthusiasm. Today I picked her up to
really thoroughly check her teeth (she doesn't like to be touched at all
that's why I usually avoid it, if I can. I know I'm a coward.) Her teeth
look quite perfect. Both the upper and lower incisors (right word?) are
about 4 mm long and the shape and colour seems all right. I'll take her
to the vet but probably can't do so until tomorrow afternoon. I hope she
won't get worse till then. The only other thing I can think of which
could be causing her state is an abscess inside her mouth or something.
Or maybe she has cancer like her sister had. You remember the times she
passed out and got stiff and cold? With her sister the vet said a cancer
growth may cause that the inner organs don't get supplied (with oxygen
or what ever) well enough.
She's only three years old. I'd be sorry to loose her.
Anyway, just thought I'd tell you. I'll let you know what the vet finds
out.
Eva
