I asked my grandmother (92 1/2) to give me a dictionary this past Holiday
(& sign it where it says Presented to, By, & Date, so I could have
something that I use all the time to remember her by -- she is starting to
not age well.) Mine is a Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th
Edition, Merriam-Webster, Inc., Springfield, Mass, USA, 1999.

You know us Americans: we've been corrupting the language ever since we got
across the pond with it. ;)

Word to your Mother,
Rebecca...

P.S. The above was a respectful closing. Just so you know. =)
