Hi List-
                Is it necessary to have
a vet clip gerbil nails, or is it something I can do myself? I'm
inclined to take her to her vet, but I thought I'd ask what others do.

How long are they? Perhaps, you can wrap a wheel with fine sandpaper and
tape or glue it together like I did with newspaper see--
