No, amoxicilan is NOT sulfa.  It's possible both sulfa and amoxicillan are
both pink, but they are different substances, and sulfa is the one two vets
have suggested to me as good for gerbils.

If amoxicilian is the pink colored medicine I think it is one of the
medications a vet told me not to use on rodents.
