Originally I wanted to let the males in the old (large) tank and separate
the "rest of the family". But I'm not sure whether they won't start fighting
anyway when some members of the group will be gone? This is why I didn't
separate them earlier... I alway thought they might have been starting to
fight as soon as something changed.
Now, during the past days they're getting more and more aggressive
(fortunately (thanks GML) I knew this could happen at the age of 6 months!)
and I want to split the group before one of my gerbies may be hurt.

Maybe Julian can tell me something about his experiences too.
