Our first batch of pups is beginning to open their eyes so weaning is just
arround the corner. One of our Gerbils as pets books states "During the
build-up period, supply small mashes of softfood composed of milk-soaked
bread with maybe some cheese and seeds added" . Does anyone out there do
this? I sure don't think this is done in the wild.
Also how long after they do open their eyes are they weaned [by mom]?
