This is not true in all cases. I bought my first pair of gerbils from PetCo
and they were sperated male from females. PetCo is one of the few, if not
the only, petstore I have come across that does this.
PetsMart here does that... they're seperated by store... the one here in Norman only sells female rodents. :)
