I wanted to breed my corgi and survived two horribly nasty heats but immediately called for a spay app't after seeing her cower from two cocker spaniels. Not the right temperament for a herding breed ;-). (Now I think it was a fluke due to being on the cockers' turf, but I don't regret my decision not to breed a less than "perfect" animal). Once again, no intent to condemn anyone on the list. I'm just mulling over how animal lovers determine breeding stock...
