That's a wonderful idea, Kristen. It reminds me of
something I've had lurking in the back of my mind for
awhile. I used to have a "rescue" page on my site where I
posted the location of gerbils needing rescue, but I
discontinued it because hardly anybody used it, and I was
never updated on whether the gerbils were adopted, etc. I'm
considering starting it up again, though. What the heck.
How many of you out there know of potential rescuees and
would be willing to send me information? Ages, sexes,
colors, locations, circumstances, adoption requirements.
Maybe I'll put a form on my site. Hrrrmmm. Of course this
assumes I'll get over this condition that is giving me pain
to type ... I forget what the doc called it but he gave me
anti-inflammatories and seemed pretty positive that it would
go away. Notice I brave the pain to type about gerbies.
I'm a lost cause. Heehee.

P.S. I'm not breeding anymore either. At least for now.
In the future I'm planning on having only a couple of
litters every year or so, just enough to keep this family
line going. Silly of me, I know, but I love the
personalities of these little darlings!
