I'm making a list of as many questions as I can think of that I might
need answers to in the future.
I'm doing this because I think it's better than posting all my questions
seperately, which is what I used to do, I'm sorry.
Firstly I want to make my own food for the gerbies because it is easier
then buying bags of it from petstores, Wal-mart, etc.
This is a tenative "recipe" any suggestions as to what you would change
would be great :)

1/4 cup of oats, peanuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, barley,
raisins, dry cat food, also some type of cereal, not sure which though
1/2 cup of corn and mixed beans (peas, lima, etc.)
1/2 - 1 cup of rabbit pellets
1 - 11/2 cups of wheat

I am not doing this for a while but I figured it would be good to know
anyways

I know that pups normally open their eyes around 18 days what is the
longest and shortest period for eye opening?

Can runts go on to be successful breeders and do they live as long?

When the mother is still nursing pups I know that the gestation of the
next litter can be postponed or come as normal. What is a general rough
time to expect the second litter?

Should I take out the pups before or after the second litter is born?
Should I leave only the females or only the males, or should I just
leave both?

Are seeing nipples on the belly of a pup a safe way to think she is
female?
Do male gerbils have nipples too like other animals?

I give my gerbils balsa wood to knaw on from the hobby shop will this
work to keep their teeth down and is it safe for them to have in the
first place?

How often can you give millet?
Currently I am giving about a one - two inch long peice every 4-7 days.

I'm sorry if this message is big and it takes some people a long time to
get it.
I don't think I'll have any more questions for a while.

Thanks so much list
I luv yas :)
