Was there any problem with the other female? IIRC she would most likely
have helped raise the litter and then you might have put one of the
female pups with her to rehome the two of them together...
I think aggression usually doesn't occur until later except if a male is
present or the other female is pregnant too.
Of course if any signs of aggression were seen in the mother or the
"aunt" it was the best thing to separate them.
I hope you can find her a good home, soon.
