I don't think any of us got an answer from him yet.
I suspect he grabbed Cocoa and went to visit some family or went for a
hike in the mountains (errr... wrong time of year for this, I hope he
realized that), just to get things off his head.
When he returns he will have to go through huge piles of unread private
email, and perhaps some GML mail, too, so we can't expect him back very
soon.
Bill, can you hear us? If you don't answer soon, at least to private
email, we're all worried that you might have suffered a heart attack!

P.S. Molly, I was astonished to hear it was you who sent Bill that
email. I hadn't expected that. But be assured that nobody wants you to
leave because of that. It was a private thing between you and Bill. And
still I'm sure Bill doesn't want you to leave the list just because you
seem to see things differently. He's sad and disappointed, that's all.
