No all you have to do is get a tetanus shot because the bite is a
puncture wound. If you stepped on a nail, you would  have to get the
shot as well. The shot is good for 10 years, I just got the shot about
three weeks ago, when one of my students bit me. Its a good thing, I had
a shirt and a sweater protecting me.
