i have five gerbils, all are males and are in two cages.
apollo-pied nutmeg, zeus-black, sophocles-deh, oedipus and theseus-nutmegs.
zeus and apollo are about three or four months old (the pet store did not
give me a date of birth) the other three were born on 11-27-99. zeus and
apollo are in a two level habitrail cage that they have not chewed to bits
yet (i check every day). anyways, one day i was in a rush and as i feed my
animals in the morning i had to hurry or i was going to be late for work.
while at work i got a phone call from my boyfriend saying that they had
escaped and it took him an hour to get them back into their cage. i must
have left the door open in my rush to go.
