Well, here I go again--I've lost another gerbil. No, not dead(at least I don't think so!), but I had all the newest litter out on the bed and one got lost somehow even though I was watching them the whole time. I guess she must have gotten out into the house somewhere, but I haven't seen a sign of her (or him) anywhere on the floor, and I almost turned the bed inside out looking for her.
