Most of these are right on target, but some of them are just silly.
Like these:

> 1  Default blue links

While I also think the default grey color isn't very interesting, it
certainly doesn't distract from readability.  And some pages (like mine,
for instance) look just fine in the default blue link color.  It shows
up very well on the mustard-yellow background.

> 5  Text links that are not underlined so you don't know they are links

This can be set as a local preference, at least on Netscape.  I turned
underlining off because it tended to annoy me, where as the contrasting
colors worked fine for me for readability.  If someone didn't want to
change their colors for links, I pretty much don't bother to follow
them.
