I know the GML was affected over the weekend, but I don't think it was
subject to a hacker attack. The Hackers attacked big commercial sites
and doubt Rice University was on their hit list.

I have been seeing a lot of this recently coming from people asking for
gerbil advice. If you ever see a strange attachment coming from someone,
even if you know them, do not open it unless someone you trust has told
you it is coming and tells you what it is.

Make sure you properly remove it with either proper virus software or by
following the instructions on many webpages.

A slow moving mouse usually means there is a memory leak somewhere. This
is because a program is eating up all the memory on your machine due t
poor programing This may be connected with Happy99 but may be something
else.
