Here's my gerbil roll call, all 82 of them: ***A word to the wise....do not keep more than 1-2 breeding pairs unless you are prepared to keep whatever pups you can not find good homes for. This is why I have 82 gerbils!***(I stopped breeding gerbils last October) Oreo, born 8/27/98, black mottled male. James, his cage mate, purchased from a pet store almost 2 years ago, a dove. He's a good old gerbie. Jo-Jo, purchased in 9/97, our golden agouti patriarch, he's a good gerbie as well. Punky, nutmeg male, born 8/14/98. Sandy, schimmel female, Jo-Jo's ex-wife. purchased from a pet store 11/97. Her daughter & cage mate Olivia, golden agouti, born 9/5/98. Cookie, schimmel female, from Jo-Jo & Sandy's 1st litter, born on 1/21/98. Her cage mate Anna, siamese, born on 3/8/99. Ruby, golden agouti (with 3 paws due to fluffy bedding), also born 1/21/98. Her daughter/cage mate Garnet, golden agouti, born 9/4/98. Nestle', siamese F, born 2/11/98. Her cage mate Velvet, black F, Oreo's ex-wife, born 7/13/98. Ashleigh, grey agouti F, born 5/8/98. Her cage mate/daughter Buttercup, yellow F, born 8/9/99. Their unrelated cage mate, Alecia, golden agouti, rescued from a pet store last October. Estelle, black F, born 6/2/98. Her cage mate (split tank) Miss Piggy, yellow fox, born 4/14/99. Peanut, golden agouti M, purchased 8/98. His cage mate Dustin, DTW M, born on 1/20/99. Very dark tail I might add. GoldenBoy, dark eyed honey (not so dark) M, born 8/14/98. His son/cage mate Nugget, golden agouti M, born 6/25/99. Terry McKay, champagne or spotted schimmel F, born 9/16/98. She's in a 20 long tank with her daughters: Lucy, argente golden born 7/2/99. Flopsy, Mopsy & Cottontail are all golden agouti spot F from the same litter, born 5/21/99. Willy, burmese M, born 11/10/98. His cage mate Omar, grey agouti M, born 10/14/99. Gloria, golden agouti spot F, born 11/29/98. Her foster daughter Annie (as in Little Orphan) black F. Squirrel, golden agouti F, born 1/6/99. In with her daughters in a 20 long: Natasha, grey agouti, born 9/6/99, Frick & Frack-golden agouti sisters born 9/6/99 too. Clover & Thumper, dark eyed honeys that are lighter, born 10/14/99. Jenna, golden agouti F, born 2/8/99. In with her daughters in a 20 long: Julie & Jenny, golden agouti, born 8/19/99. Wally, nutmeg M, born 6/25/99. In 20 long tank with brothers: Filbert, DEH M born 6/25/99; Onyx, black, born 6/25/99 & Almond, DEH M born 8/9/99. Fanny, Frances & Sadie, sisters. Quattro & Cinco are black born on 8/19/99. Blinky, Inquy, Stinky & Minky. All black M born 9/18/99. Can you tell I'm running out of ideas for names after having gerbils for almost 3 years????? And lastly: Bit & Byte. They don't *bite*....computer terms! Bit is a schimmel M born 10/16/99 & Byte is golden agouti born 10/16/99. That is all of them!
