Request for Advice

I've read many of your messages about removing the male from the breeding
tank, just before a litter is born, to quit producing.  But, I've never heard
anyone mention the option of removing the female.  Can that be done?  I was
thinking it might be more peaceful (and less stressful) to move the female
near her due date, leaving dad with the four week old pups.  What do you
think?
