Thank you to those who wrote to me and posted about my sick mother
gerbil.
I was worried and wanted to be prepared for the worst.

The good news is that she is acting fine!  She's running around chasing
the pups and eating again.  Most people wouldn't understand how I spent
hours sitting with her and watching.
The gerbils belong to my 9-year-old son, but I've become attached.
