Well, it's that time again (do I hear groaning in the background?) It's been a while, so there's a few old, old things on here, but oh well : 0-), 1 of the newest litter of 6 died at I think three days, unknown cause. This isn't too unusual I know, but it's the first pup we've ever lost : 0-( It's been a while since then, though, or seems like a while, because the litter's around 18 days now, I think. Which is another trivial newspiece: They are all opening their eyes on schedule, and a few walking around looking lopsided with one eye all the way open and the other shut tight. I still can't get over how funny that looks! Radar and Titanic, my two oldest girls, are the only ones I've seen running in the wheel (possibly the others can't jump high enough to reach it yet, since it's attached to the roof : 0-), ) Radar got a bare spot just above her nose a few weeks back, and lately I've noticed Titanic is getting one, too. She is running in the wheel more, I think, but another possible cause is the canola oil I used to oil it not too long ago, when it was squeaking and squawking something awful (and I thought it was hard to get to sleep before! lol) The bare spots don't seem to bother them, and I frankly doubt if they even notice them! so it isn't too big a deal, I think. But what in the world could be causing that? I haven't noticed either chewing on the wheel bars lately, so I don't think that's it. Although, I have seen one stand up and try to grab the wheel while the other is running in it, but it seems like leaning BACK and grabbing at the wheel with their PAWS would give them a bare spot on TOP of their NOSE! Anywayz, TIA for any comments or suggestions : 0-), Samantha, the pets who own her-- : 0-), <:3 )----* + 13--her Neopet Astrolis the Wocky, & Biskit & Co.
