Question About Mites?

Hi List,
I had someone ask me to write the list with a question about mites.
What are the signs that your gerbil has mites and what do you do about
it?  She is thinking that
one of her gerbils may have mites and she is worried.  She doesn't know
what to
do.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I will pass the
information
on to her.
