Hi!

Ok, to conclude I would like to say that I couldn't and can't take the
topic into private email. The GR seems to be a public organisation. The
GML has members of the GR so the topic is relevant to the list.
As a public organisation the GR should be able to cope with public
criticism.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to follow the development of the GR
closely. I hope you'll take my warnings seriously despite the angry tone
(for which I apologise).

I can't understand the voices who cry out to stop the discussion. On the
contrary, I wish to encourage you all to think through the concept of
the GR and give the necessary criticism NOW, while there is still time
to tackle things differently.

Up to now I can't see how gerbils will be rescued or how the GR will
really make gerbils' lives better. However I have given my advice and
can do no more. Please consider how important a sound plan is in a
country where there are still so many killing shelters.

Before I go back into my "lurking" position I just want to clarify that
in my posts I didn't address Kristen alone but rather all the people
concerned about the GR and gerbil rescuing. The writers of the
newsletter as well as the members as well as people who are just
interested. Kristen, however, seems to be the person who has to do all
the work when it really comes to rescuing gerbils. And I wish with all
my heart that everything can be done to prevent it becoming a
catastrophy both to her and the animals involved.
So please in the future have some more organised planning and think
matters over even more carefully.

I hope this will do now, because I really don't have the time to
continue the discussion. Please don't drop the topic but work together
to find a solution how a gerbil rescue could really work.

Eva
